On December 14, 2008 SWMC made history by being the first womens MC voted into the Virginia Confederation of Clubs, an organization of MCs united to protect the rights of MC members, uphold the standards and traditions of the MC community and provide a forum for communications of MCs in and traveling through Virginia.
